With the Covid shut down extending longer, we are trying different ways at work to pep people up. So we are running an #urbansketchers competition to get the crew out of their bedroom and to get outside to sketch their local area. Looking forward to seeing what they com up with. Here’s my little one-line drawing (I like this style as it purposely covers up that it’s horribly inaccurate).

When the world gets tired of seeing rowers all just heading down the same straight course, time to stir it up with a good old-fashioned game of battleships. Getting to Olympic medal level takes a lot…but don’t we always want more? Sure javelin takes power but what about dexterity? Introducing the newest addition to track and field events at Tokyo….. pick-up-sticks javelin. Competitors can’t throw their javelins until they have successfully extracted their stick from the pile with beady-eyed umpires watching to see if it moves. #tokyo2020 #tokyoolympics2020 #javelinthrow #pickupsticks #kelseyleebarber
